Goals
Career: Next up for me? Securing a full-time position as an Instructional Designer.
Academic: I would like to expand by leadership skills by applying for Leadership Pittsburgh.
Personal: I have had my own personal cheering section throughout my graduate coursework. I look forward spending my new-found free time with my child and our two pups in the Pittsburgh area.
Making a Difference
It is my goal to make the field of Instructional Design and projects I create inclusive and accessible to all learners. I plan to make a positive difference in my field by advocating for those who need accommodations and support in learning, implementing inclusive practices, Universal Design for Learning, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) international standards.
Continued Growth
I look forward to attending 3Play Media’s ACCESS 2023 Conference, to continue growing my knowledge of encouraging inclusivity, enabling change, and empowering equality in Instructional Design.
